As the youngest of three girls and the last daughter to get married, Emily’s wedding day with Jake was one full of emotion and sweetness! They were married on a beautiful December Saturday in the church her family has attended for years and that her sisters were also married in.
Their special day was sprinkled with sweet moments that will highlight the memories they have of their special day. After her first look with the bridesmaids, Emily’s dad helped her put on her wedding shoes – something he had done with his other two daughters at their weddings. The Catholic mass ceremony was performed by a priest the family knew for years and upon arriving at Old Bethany for their reception, their friends and family enjoyed an amazing cocktail hour on the back patio while the bride and groom did their sunset portraits. The reception was filled with Emily’s sisters giving teary speeches, champagne toasts, and their friends celebrating the momentous night with laughter and dancing!
It was so much fun to capture this beautiful December wedding with Sarah! We kept leaning over to each other and whispering that so many things were “So sweet!” and laughing at the energy and antics of the guests. Emily and Jake, we wish you so many years of laughter and joy together!
