College Graduate Session

When Kameron and I met, we were from two different worlds and it pretty much stayed that way during our first year of long distance dating. We were two hours apart and since I didn’t have a car, Kam was the one who would drive over on the weekends and enter into my world. I didn’t get to see much of his world until a year later when we would go to his home during college breaks together. When I did, so many of the things that I had heard about over the phone finally started to click and I got to put faces to the names that I had heard so many times.

One of these “clicks” was Kam’s high school friend Madison. From what I had heard on the phone during our senior year, Madison was one of the sweetest girls at school. She was so friendly and never excluded anyone from hanging out. She was kind and she was the favored hostess in high school – she would regularly have everyone over to her house to play games, eat food, and talk. One of the most frequent things I heard Kam say that year was “We’re all going over to Madison’s house tonight for a couple hours!” And he always said it was so much fun.

Fast forward a year and half later when I got to come with Kameron during a college break. I finally got to meet the girl I had heard so much about since I met Kam. And dang, was she AMAZING! Everything Kam had told me was true. She is the sweetest and kindest woman. She has a fantastic smile and a positive and joyous personality. I even got to go to “Madison’s house” for several hang-out nights. In about 5 minutes, I could see why everyone loved to be there. This is where everyone shared tons of laughter, jokes, long conversations with each other, feel included, and relish in all of the memories.

And now, several years later, Madison is graduating from college in early May! Since meeting her for the first time, she’s become a dear friend to both Kam and I. When she asked if we would take her senior graduation pictures, I was so excited because finally we could give something back to this wonderfully sweet friend. Madison, you’re absolutely stunning inside and out and it was an honor to capture this milestone in the gorgeous almond blossoms. You’re just getting started on a brand new chapter in your life and I know it’s going to be exciting, sweet, and full of growth! We love you so much and can’t wait to see you bring wonderful joy into so many others’ lives, as you have done for us.
