Picking up an interview candidate for work. How’s that for a “how we met” story?! Luckily for them, Evelyn was the one sent to pick up the potential candidate from the airport and Andy was the handsome interviewee! From their conversations in the car, to Andy being hired by the company and now sharing the same workplace, these two quickly figured out they were meant to spend their lives together.
So many funny overlaps in their lives were brought to light as they started to get to know each other. They both studied engineering in college. They landed jobs at the same company in Houston. They both grew up going to the same lake in Michigan every summer, staying in places that were only 30 minutes apart – which made it the perfect place to propose years later.
On a summer weekend, Andy took Evelyn on a trip to that same lake they grew up on. With her family and his mom visiting for the day, it was perfect for him to pop the question. Evelyn’s older sisters and mom fussed over her outfit and makeup that day, secretly knowing what was coming. Not catching on to any of the extra fussing, Evelyn was obliviously happy to go on a walk down the beach, when after just a little ways, Andy turned towards her and got down on one knee with a solitaire engagement ring.
It was so much fun capturing engagement photos for these two, they were absolute pros at posing and being cute and romantic together! We are so excited to for your wedding in just a couple months and can’t wait to celebrate your big day with you!!
