Being an athlete in college comes with many advantages, as well as maybe some added stress. An unanticipated advantage for Nate was this would be how he would meet his future wife! Nate had seen Allie hanging out with some of mutual friends and around the sports complex, but she often disappeared before he could get around to introducing himself.
He spotted her again in the dining commons one day and took his chance. He walked over and finally made the gorgeous blue-eyed girl with a big smile aware that he existed and could be pretty charming. A couple more encounters together with friends at sporting events and in June, he took her out on their first date, complete with a walk during sunset.
After that, things were official and it would be two years until another big moment would happen for them in June. On their two-year dating anniversary, Nate dropped to a knee and asked Allie to marry him. One year later, on June 8th (because all great things happen in June for these two!), they got married right after celebrating college graduation together!
Getting to capture anniversary photos for these two was nothing short of incredible! Allie is an amazing wedding photographer as well, and with Nate being a stellar husband, when we coached them into poses, they would know exactly what we meant before we even finished talking! It was an evening full of laughs, beautiful weather, and a double date night out to more than eight different restaurants. Allie and Nate, we love you both and can’t wait for your next anniversary – let’s do it all again!
